LandBank, CLSU launch Cash-Lite Campus for cashless transactions

LandBank partnered with Central Luzon State University (CLSU) to introduce a Cash-Lite Campus initiative on April 8, 2025, aiming to transform CLSU into a tech-savvy campus through digital payment solutions.

The initiative aims to reduce cash dependency and streamline transactions by equipping students, faculty, and staff with secure and efficient cashless options for daily financial activities within the university.

LandBank President Lynette V. Ortiz highlighted the importance of nurturing a digitally empowered academic community and providing essential digital financial skills to students.

During the launch event, LandBank demonstrated how to open accounts through its mobile banking app and showcased QR code payment solutions, encouraging seamless transactions using digital banking services.

The initiative is expected to drive an increase in digital transactions and facilitate the opening of over 8,000 new accounts at CLSU.

Following the successful launch at CLSU, LandBank plans to roll out the Cash-Lite Campus initiative at other universities nationwide, further promoting financial inclusion and digital adoption in higher education institutions.
