Lakas-CMD nominates Bong Revilla for 2025 senatorial bid

Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) officially announced Senator Ramon 'Bong' Revilla Jr.'s re-election bid during its national convention at Malacañang on Friday.

Revilla accepted the party's nomination with gratitude and pride, expressing his appreciation for the trust placed in him to represent Filipinos as a senatorial candidate in the 2025 midterm elections.

Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez highlighted that Lakas-CMD is part of a 'formidable administration alliance' including Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, emphasizing their commitment to shaping the country's future through a broad and inclusive movement.

The party also appointed regional chairpersons for various regions, such as Rep. Ramon Guico Jr. for the Ilocos Region and Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla for Calabarzon.

This administration alliance includes Lakas-CMD, PFP led by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., along with other parties like the Nacionalista Party, Nationalist People's Coalition, and the National Unity Party.
