Lakas-CMD adopts Bongbong Marcos as pres candidate, confirms Sara Duterte as VP

On Wednesday, November 24, Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) formalized its alliances for the 2022 election by adopting Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr., of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), as its presidential candidate and confirming Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte as vice presidential candidate.

The party's executive committee meeting passed Resolution No. 10, Series of 2021, which adopted Marcos Jr. as the official Lakas-CMD presidential bet and running mate for Duterte.

Resolution No. 09, Series of 2021 confirmed Duterte’s candidacy for vice president and authorized her to choose her presidential running mate.
