Los Baōos prepares to distribute PHP97M ayuda

The municipality of Los Baōos in Laguna is preparing to distribute PHP97.04 million in cash aid received from the provincial government to help residents affected by the enhanced community quarantine.

As of Thursday, August 19, the local government is organizing a master list of beneficiaries and will start distributing the assistance once it is finalized.

Governor Ramil Hernandez announced on Wednesday that Laguna province has received PHP2.7 billion in total aid from the national government to assist around 2.7 million individuals or 80 percent of the low-income population.
