Lady Bulldogs sweep SSL Davao leg with back-to-back wins

National University's Lady Bulldogs secured a 25-9, 25-12, 25-14 victory over Davao Selection on Saturday night in the Shakey's Super League (SSL) National Invitationals held in Davao City.

Captain Vange Alinsug and rookie Sam Cantada led the team with impressive performances, contributing significantly to their second consecutive win in the tournament.

The Lady Bulldogs dominated from the start, setting up a crucial match against University of the Philippines on Sunday.

On Sunday, National University overcame University of the Philippines, 25-21, 20-25, 25-20, 25-17, to rule the SSL National Invitationals Davao Leg, with rookie Sam Cantada earning Best Player honors for her outstanding performance.

Assistant coach Alvin Dumalaog expressed satisfaction with his team's progress and preparation for the upcoming showdown, noting it is good exposure for new players and an opportunity to fix positions.
