Romualdez, Lacson silent on Sotto's vaccine claims

House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez and Senator Panfilo Lacson have not confirmed or denied claims made by Senate President Vicente Sotto III that they received a COVID-19 vaccine.

Sotto claimed on Saturday that both Lacson and Romualdez were vaccinated with a Pfizer-like vaccine before mid-September, but neither has provided a definitive response.

Lacson laughed off the question during a radio interview on Tuesday, refusing to give a categorical answer.

On Sunday, Lacson hinted that the claim might be a joke made among senators during their breaks from work.
