Labor groups urge Robredo to include Matula in Senate slate

Labor groups supporting Vice President Leni Robredo's presidential bid urged her to include labor leader Jose Sonny G. Matula in her senatorial slate.

The Alliance of Labor Leaders for Leni (ALL 4 Leni) stated that Ms. Robredo has been receptive to their five-point labor agenda, which includes ending contractualization and adopting a national minimum wage.

The groups believe that having a worker representative in the senatorial slate will strengthen their support for Ms. Robredo and increase her chances of winning.
