KT Sonicboom loses 3-1 to SK Knights in KBL semis

The Suwon KT Sonicboom's semifinal run came to an end after losing to the Seoul SK Knights with a 69-57 defeat on Monday, April 29.

Despite securing a 77-64 win in Game 3 and holding momentum, the Sonicboom struggled out of the gate and ultimately fell short against the strong performance by Jameel Warney who led the Knights with 40 points and 18 rebounds.

The series concluded at 3-1, with the Seoul SK Knights advancing to face Carl Tamayo and the Changwon LG Sakers in the finals.

JD Cagulangan contributed five points, four rebounds, one assist, and four steals for Suwon while Heo Hoon led his team with 22 points.

Rayshaun Hammonds and Ha Yun-Gi added support but their efforts were not enough to overcome Seoul's dominant play.
