Kris Aquino returns to PH for medical treatment

Television personality Kris Aquino returned to the Philippines on Friday, September 13, alongside her son Bimby and friends like fashion designer Michael Leyva.

Kris announced her return via Instagram on Saturday, September 12, stating she needs emotional support from family and friends for a new round of immunosuppressant infusions akin to chemotherapy in two to three weeks.

She shared updates on her health, revealing six confirmed autoimmune conditions including thyroiditis, urticaria, Churg-Strauss syndrome, systemic sclerosis, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis, with results pending for two more potential conditions.

Kris expressed gratitude to her followers for their continuous support and prayers as she prepares for what she calls 'the fight of my life'.

Her son Bimby accompanied her back home while her other son Josh remains in the US for a few more weeks.

Upon landing, Kris' friend Michael Leyva shared a video from the airport welcoming fans with the caption 'I'm so back', which was reposted by Kris' official fan page.
