'KPop Demon Hunters' tops 26 countries' charts

Netflix's animated musical fantasy action comedy 'KPop Demon Hunters' features performances by Filipina Broadway superstar Lea Salonga and K-pop group Twice.

The film follows three K-pop superstars—Rumi, Mira, and Zoey—who lead double lives as secret demon hunters, fiercely protecting their fans from supernatural threats, with Rumi, Mira, and Zoey voiced by Arden Cho, May Hong, and Ji-young Yoo respectively.

Lea Salonga voices Celine, a retired demon hunter who now guides the group in their journey, while Twice's Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung perform 'Takedown' as part of the film's soundtrack.

'KPop Demon Hunters,' produced by Sony Pictures Animation, has become one of Netflix's most-watched titles worldwide since its debut on June 20th, ranking first in 26 countries including the Philippines.

Additional songs for the film were penned by Danny Chung, Ido, Vince, Kush, Ejae, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, Mark Sonnenblick, and Daniel Rojas.
