KOJC denies violence against police during arrest warrant op

Members of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) deny allegations that they were violent against police during an operation to serve an arrest warrant for their leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy in Davao City.

Police spokesperson PCol Jean Fajardo claims KOJC members have been hurting themselves and presenting injuries as evidence of police abuse, while the group's lawyer Atty. Dina Tolentino-Fuentes states that her clients are truthful, honest, and would not harm themselves.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) continue their search for Quiboloy within the compound, despite claims from KOJC supporters that he is not present there.

The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) expressed concern over potential human rights violations by both police and KOJC members during the operation.
