Kobe Shinwa beats Creamline in tight PVL match

Kobe Shinwa University defeated Creamline in a tight match at the PhilSports Arena on Tuesday, winning 27-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21 to extend Creamline's losing streak to two games in the 2025 PVL Invitational.

Despite strong performances from Jema Galanza and Jeanette Panaga, who each scored 20 points including key plays in the fourth quarter, Creamline could not overcome Kobe Shinwa's resilience.

Kobe Shinwa was led by Kokoro Yasuma with 23 points, while Arisu Ishikawa and Nagisa Komatsuda contributed 16 points apiece.

Creamline mounted a late surge to bring the score within one point in Set 4 but failed to sustain their momentum as Kobe Shinwa pulled away for the victory.

The Japanese team improved its record to 2-1, while Creamline dropped to 1-3 despite Galanza's triple-double performance with 20 points, 17 receptions, and 11 digs.
