Kim Kianna Dy helps PLDT win PVL On Tour title

Kim Kianna Dy, who had been sidelined for nearly two years due to a patellar tendon injury, helped the PLDT High Speed Hitters win the PVL On Tour championship on Sunday, August 17.

Dy returned to action in January and played a crucial role in her team's victory over the Chery Tiggo Crossovers with a decisive kill block at the end of the match.

The former La Salle star athlete expressed gratitude for staying patient during her recovery and acknowledged the support from her teammates, including Mika Reyes, Majoy Baron, and Kim Fajardo.

After the game, Dy celebrated with fellow former La Salle players Ara Galang and Aby Maraño of Chery Tiggo, as well as their mentor Ramil de Jesus, who was in attendance.

Dy's journey back to championship play was marked by perseverance through a challenging recovery period that saw her switch teams after F2 Logistics folded.
