Kiko Pangilinan gets local backing in Pangasinan

Senatorial candidate Kiko Pangilinan received significant support from Pangasinan’s local officials during a two-day campaign visit on Tuesday, April 15.

Pangilinan discussed his platforms focusing on food security, lower food prices, and a proposed free breakfast program for students, as well as his Sagip Saka Act to support agricultural workers.

Local leaders including Lingayen Mayor Leopoldo Bataoil and Vice Mayor Mac Dexter Malicdem, Dasol Mayor Rizalde Bernal, Infanta Mayor Marvin Martinez, Anda Mayor Joganie Rarang, Alaminos Mayor Arth Bryan Celeste, Sual Mayor Arthur Celeste Jr., and Sison Mayor Danilo Uy endorsed Pangilinan’s Senate bid.

Dagupan City Mayor Belen Fernandez, Vice Mayor Bryan Kua, Bani Mayor Facundo Palafox, San Jacinto Mayor Leo De Vera, Malasiqui Vice Mayor Alfe Soriano, 1st District Representative Arthur Celeste, and 3rd District Representative Rachel Arenas also expressed their support.

Pangilinan was warmly received by Pangasinan Governor Ramon Guico III during his provincial visit and earlier received endorsements from Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero and Senator Sherwin Gatchalian.
