Kevin Quiambao scores career-high 18 assists for Goyang Skygunners

Kevin Quiambao returned to the Korean Basketball League with a strong performance, contributing 12 points, eight rebounds, and a career-high 18 assists for the Goyang Sono Skygunners in their victory over Busan KCC Egis.

Quiambao's stellar play helped the Goyang Skygunners secure their third straight win, improving their record to 13-26 and moving them closer to securing a playoff spot.

The young star, who recently played for Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers, demonstrated his versatility as he continues to compete at a high level despite limited action with Gilas.

With still 15 games left in the season, Goyang is now within striking distance of teams currently ahead of them in the standings, such as Anyang (14-25), Busan (15-25), and Wonju DB Promy (17-21).

Meanwhile, JD Cagulangan led his team Suwon KT Sonicboom to a win over Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters with four points, five rebounds, and two assists in a 63-56 victory.
