Karylle, Myrza Sison, Joanna Preysler-Francisco, Trisha Bantigue star in 'Manila Matriarchs'

Actress-singer Karylle, fashion professional Myrza Sison, businesswoman Joanna Preysler-Francisco, and tech entrepreneur Trisha Bantigue-Tsao will star in the upcoming reality show 'Manila Matriarchs'.

The eight-part series, taped in Metro Manila and San Francisco, explores their experiences as mothers, career women, and individuals pursuing happiness.

'Manila Matriarchs' is created by Filipino-American producers Cece Asuncion, Miguel Santos, Eddie Tran, Joy Tarce, JP Mallo, and Justyn Reyes.

Asuncion expressed her excitement to highlight the relatable stories of Filipina women through this series.

The show aims to celebrate the unique cultural nuances of Filipino women with support from the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) and Secretary Benhur Abalos of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Santos noted that the four leads represent power and success for women in a country known for its progressive stance on women's rights.
