Kai Sotto cleared for FIBA World Cup

Kai Sotto has been medically cleared to join Gilas Pilipinas for the FIBA World Cup.

SBP president Al Panlilio announced that Sotto's doctor and SBP medical team met and agreed on his fitness status.

Sotto, who was previously hindered by a back injury sustained during the NBA Summer League with Orlando Magic, will now focus on improving his fitness before the tournament.
