Kai Sotto has yet to join Gilas Pilipinas for training as he awaits medical clearance.

Coach Chot Reyes expects Sotto to start practicing with the team on Monday, a month before the FIBA World Cup begins.

Sotto was seen in Las Piñas watching his alma mater Ateneo play against Perpetual Help while teammate Scottie Thompson also attended the game due to a hand injury.
