Jude Garcia wins MVP in Spikers' Turf for second straight tournament

Jude Garcia of Criss Cross won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for the second consecutive tournament in Spikers' Turf.

Garcia, a 5-foot-11 outside spiker from Far Eastern University, led the league with 150 points during the elimination round and had a 53.88 percent success rate in spiking while also ranking seventh in reception efficiency at 47.28 percent.

Nico Almendras of King Crunchers and Shawie Caritativo of Savouge Spin Doctors were named Best Outside Spikers for their performances, with Almendras scoring 85 points and Caritativo achieving 92 points.

Gian Glorioso of Criss Cross and Giles Torres of Savouge received the Best Middle Blocker awards, while Dryx Saavedra from Far Eastern University-DN Steel was honored as the Best Opposite Spiker for his standout performance with 133 points and a 47.93 percent success rate in spiking.

Vince Lorenzo of Cignal earned the Best Libero award for his outstanding reception efficiency, placing first at 62.59 percent, while Ish Polvorosa of Criss Cross won for second-best setting average with a 4.70 per set.
