Garcia, Barretto reunite in 'Un/happy For You'

Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto are set to reunite on screen in 'Un/happy For You,' their first film project together since 2020.

During a press conference on Wednesday, April 25, both actors expressed excitement about working together again after individual career journeys, noting that they last collaborated as teenagers and have now matured.

The announcement was made by Star Cinema and VIVA Films, with the film to be directed by Petersen Vargas and written by Kookai Labayen, Crystal San Miguel, and Jen Chuansu.

A look test shared by Star Magic shows Garcia and Barretto in a confrontation scene, hinting at the story's conflict.

Both actors acknowledged that while they dated from 2017 to 2019, they are now in a good place for this project despite their romantic history.

Details about co-stars and premiere date have yet to be announced.
