JGFP hosts Northern Luzon Junior Open in Baguio

The Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines (JGFP) will host the Northern Luzon Junior Open, part of the 'Baguio Classic,' on May 16 at Camp John Hay Golf Club in Baguio City.

Approximately fifty young golfers aged 6 to 18 are expected to participate in the event, aiming to discover and nurture talent.

The tournament will precede a training camp from May 20 to 22 led by top Filipino junior golfer Rianne Malixi and other experienced coaches.

Partnerships with Camp John Hay and local associations like the Baguio Junior Golf Association are facilitating these events, providing opportunities for young golfers to develop their skills.

Following the Junior Open on May 17, a 'Parent and Child' golf tournament will take place at the same venue, offering prizes from sponsor Hanabishi.
