Jeron Teng shines with 11 points, helping San Miguel beat Meralco

Former De La Salle University standout Jeron Teng has been making the most of his opportunities with San Miguel Beermen in the PBA 10th Conference, averaging 8.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

In Tuesday's match against Meralco Bolts, Teng contributed 11 points, three rebounds, and a steal as San Miguel secured a victory by a score of 110-98.

Coach Leo Austria has been instrumental in giving Teng more playing time and recognizing his defensive capabilities during training sessions.

Teng expressed gratitude towards Coach Austria for the increased trust and said he aims to regain his previous form, which made him one of Alaska Aces' main weapons earlier in his career.

Despite limited playing time in recent conferences with San Miguel, Teng remained focused on learning from his teammates and continued to work hard, viewing it as an opportunity to grow.
