Jennylyn Mercado releases new single 'Ayaw Pang Umuwi'

Jennylyn Mercado announced the release of her new single 'Ayaw Pang Umuwi' on Friday, April 11, sharing a short audio clip and lyric video on social media that features sentimental lyrics about finding the right person.

Mercado first teased her comeback album in 2023 and has been sharing glimpses of her work on music since then, with March marking the completion of recording her comeback album.

The Kapuso Ultimate Star is known for hit songs like 'Kahit Sandali' and 'Sa Aking Panaginip,' as well as collaborations such as 'Moments of Love' with Janno Gibbs.

In addition to her musical career, Jennylyn and her husband Dennis Trillo are set to star in the upcoming GMA action-drama series 'Sanggang Dikit.'

Their first movie as a married couple, the romcom film 'Everything About My Wife,' premiered in February.
