Maris Racal apologizes for cheating scandal

Actress Maris Racal apologized tearfully for her role in a cheating scandal involving intimate text messages with actor Anthony Jennings that were shared without her consent.

Racal admitted she was lonely and vulnerable when she started her relationship with Jennings, believing he was single based on his assurances. She broke up with Rico Blanco after Jennings claimed to be single.

Maris Racal's glam team, including stylist Adrianne Concepcion and makeup artist Jay Salcedo, expressed support for the actress, emphasizing that they genuinely believed Jennings was single when their relationship began.

Concepcion and Salcedo stressed that they had no knowledge or consent regarding any wrongdoing and rallied behind Racal to show solidarity with women who have experienced gaslighting and infidelity.

Jennings issued a Facebook post and video statement on Friday night, apologizing to Maris Racal and his ex-girlfriend Jamela Villanueva for the alleged cheating issue they are involved in.
