JB Bahio signs two-year contract extension with NLEX

Just hours before NLEX' quarterfinals match against Rain or Shine on Wednesday, June 18, JB Bahio signed a two-year contract extension with the team.

Bahio, who was picked up as a free agent by NLEX last November, expressed his happiness and eagerness to repay the team's trust for signing him under this new deal.

The 27-year-old player from San Beda has been averaging 10.9 points and 7.5 rebounds per game during the elimination round of the ongoing PBA Philippine Cup, contributing significantly to NLEX’s second-place finish with an 8-3 win-loss record.

NLEX team governor Ronald Dulatre praised Bahio's performance, noting his hard work and positive attitude, emphasizing that at just 27 years old, he has not yet reached his prime.

Dulatre expressed optimism about Bahio's future contributions to the team as NLEX holds a twice-to-beat advantage over Rain or Shine in their upcoming quarterfinal clash.
