Janssen starts Phase 3 COVID-19 vaccine trials in PH

Janssen Pharmaceuticals has commenced Phase 3 clinical trials for its COVID-19 vaccine in the Philippines.

Patient screening, recruitment, and vaccination have begun at trial sites in Metro Manila, Calabarzon Region, and Western Visayas.

Details such as the number of participants are confidential and can only be disclosed by Janssen Pharmaceuticals.

Other approved vaccine developers for clinical trials include Sinovac Biotech Ltd., Gamaleya Research Institute, and Clover Biopharmaceuticals.
