Filipino stars meet Janet Jackson backstage

Filipino celebrities Sarah Geronimo, Iza Calzado, and Karylle met international pop star Janet Jackson backstage at her concert in Manila on Wednesday, March 13.

Karylle shared an Instagram photo of herself and other friends posing with Janet Jackson, expressing gratitude for the encounter. She mentioned dancing her way backstage to meet the singer, who she said giggled during their interaction.

Joining Karylle were entrepreneur Cristalle Belo-Pitt and her partner Hayden Kho, Vice Ganda, Matteo Guidicelli, Small Laude, Vogue Philippines' Pam Quinones, and screenwriter Garlic Garcia. The group was spotted dancing to Jackson's hits like 'Together Again,' 'Let's Wait a While,' and 'Again.'

In the comments section of her post, Martin Nievera asked how Karylle managed to meet Janet, to which she replied that she danced as much as possible and had a great time finding her way backstage.

Janet Jackson performed at the Smart Araneta Coliseum as part of her Together Again concert tour, known for hits like 'That's The Way Love Goes' and 'Scream.' Her Manila show lasted almost three hours with performances of iconic tracks such as 'Rhythm Nation,' 'Miss You Much,' and a collaboration song with her late brother Michael Jackson titled 'Scream.'
