Ivana Alawi passes polygraph denying family breakup

Actress Ivana Alawi recently took a lie detector test to address allegations of an illicit affair with Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo 'Albee' Benitez.

During the test, conducted by her sister Mona and broadcast on her YouTube vlog, Ivana denied causing a family to break up and emphasized that she respects families because hers is also broken.

The polygraph examiner confirmed that Ivana was telling the truth when she responded 'No' to whether she had caused a family to fall apart.

Ivana described herself as a private person who does not share everything with the public, adding context to her reluctance to comment on the affair allegations.

Dominique Lopez, Benitez's ex-wife, filed an affidavit last month against him for alleged violation of Sections 5 e 2 Republic Act 9262, claiming his infidelity caused mental and emotional distress.

Both Ivana and Albee have yet to publicly confirm or deny their relationship, while Benitez's camp claims the rumored affair is part of a 'demolition job' against him.
