Isko Moreno announces presidential bid, rules out VP run

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has announced his candidacy for president in the 2022 elections.

During his campaign launch in Tondo, Manila, Moreno emphasized an 'inclusive, open' governance approach and promised to work with anyone from all political spectrums.

Moreno ruled out running as vice president under a united opposition ticket, stating he prefers decisiveness over flip-flopping.

His running mate is Dr. Willie Ong, who ran for senator in 2019 but lost.
