Imee Marcos dismisses mayor rumors, eyes senator reelection

Senator Imee Marcos dismissed rumors that she would run for Manila City mayor in the 2025 elections, confirming her intention to seek reelection as senator.

Marcos clarified during an interview on Monday that she is unsure if she will be included in the administration's slate due to the number of potential candidates and various coalitions.

She noted there are many candidates across different slates such as Lakas and PFP, leaving her uncertain about her inclusion.

Despite rumors suggesting otherwise, Marcos emphasized her continued support for Vice President Sara Duterte despite no discussions with Hugpong ng Pagbabago.

Marcos reiterated that regardless of political developments, she remains committed to supporting VP Sara Duterte in any challenge they face.
