EEI signs pact with CSC for precast concrete supply

EEI Corp., a listed construction company, has signed an agreement with Concrete Stone Corp. (CSC) for the supply of precast concrete nationwide.

Under the memorandum of understanding signed on June 10, CSC will provide EEI with precast concrete requirements for various mega infrastructure projects across the Philippines, including low- and mid-rise buildings and hotels known for their strong fire resistance.

EEI President and CEO Henry D. Antonio expressed optimism about the collaboration, stating it supports their commitment to delivering quality infrastructure that contributes to economic growth.

One of EEI's major upcoming projects is the Metro Rail Transit Line 7 (MRT-7), which will connect Quezon City to San Jose del Monte, Bulacan and is expected to carry up to 850,000 passengers daily by its twelfth year.

CSC specializes in producing construction materials such as aggregates, precast concrete, cement, and asphalt, and has previously worked on significant projects like the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway.
