IATF suspends flights from countries with new COVID variant until Dec. 15

The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) has banned inbound flights from South Africa, Botswana, and other countries with local cases of the B.1.1.529 coronavirus variant until December 15.

Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles announced that travelers who arrived in the past seven days will be required to undergo a 14-day facility-based quarantine with an RT-PCR test on day seven or upon location, whichever is later.
