House reports 43 active COVID cases, suspends work until Wednesday

House Secretary General Mark Mendoza reported Tuesday that the House of Representatives has recorded 43 active and 277 total COVID-19 cases since last year, with 227 recoveries and seven deaths.

The House suspended work operations from March 23 to 24 due to rising infections in Metro Manila, resuming on Thursday morning.

Committee meetings will be conducted via Zoom during the suspension.
