House panel may invite Duterte, Bato to testify on PH OLGs, EJKs

Former President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Ronald 'Bato' Dela Rosa may soon be invited by the House Quad Committee to testify about illegal Philippine offshore gaming operators and alleged extrajudicial killings during the war on drugs.

Manila 6th District Representative Benny Abante confirmed that an invitation might be extended to both Duterte and Dela Rosa, although Duterte's participation would likely be brief if he attends.

Senator Bato Dela Rosa has denied knowledge of the 'Davao model' of the drug war and any involvement in handling money for a supposed reward system.

Kerwin Espinosa accused Senator Dela Rosa of pressuring him to link former Senator Leila de Lima and businessman Peter Lim to illegal drugs, but Dela Rosa denies these claims.
