GSIS releases PHP413.4B in loans to 1.9M applicants

The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has released PHP413.4 billion in loans to over 1.9 million approved applications under its Ginhawa Flex and Ginhawa Lite programs as of June 25.

As of the same date, GSIS President Wick Veloso highlighted that the Ginhawa Flex program has disbursed PHP401.19 billion to 1,437,060 members since September 2023.

The Ginhawa Lite program, launched in October 2024, has provided PHP12.247 billion to 408,656 members for emergency needs.

GSIS also noted that more than 4,000 families have bought their homes through the Lease-With-Option-to-Buy Program and almost 2,000 families kept their houses through the GSIS' Housing Accounts Remedial and Condonation Program.

Veloso emphasized the importance of these programs in providing real relief and support for public servants.
