Gomez organizes relief for Odette-hit Cebu

Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez has organized a relief effort for her home province of Cebu, which was devastated by Typhoon Odette (Rai).

Gomez's family home in Cebu City suffered damage during the typhoon, but they are physically safe.

The beauty queen is partnering with SimplyShare Foundation Inc. and the Naval Reserve Center Eastern Visayas to provide aid to affected areas.

Miss Universe Philippines has postponed Gomez’s interviews and other engagements so she can assist her family once her quarantine period ends.
