Golden Coolers extend winning streak to five

The Rizal Xentromall Golden Coolers extended their winning streak to five games by defeating the Mindoro Tamaraws, 77-61, in a Manny Pacquiao presents MPBL Season 2025 match at Ynares Center 2 Montalban on Tuesday.

Michael Canete and Keanu Caballero led the Golden Coolers with 13 points each, securing Best Player honors for the night.

The victory placed the Golden Coolers alongside the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards at the top of the round-robin elimination phase in a tournament featuring 70 teams.

Eric Joseph Pili and Eric Cammson provided support with 10 and 8 points respectively, making the Golden Coolers strong contenders for playoff berths in the two-division regional league.

In another match, the Davao Occidental Tigers edged out the Paranaque Patriots, 70-66, while the Muntinlupa Cagers secured a win against the Bulacan Kuyas, 104-78.
