GMA Network confirms 'It's Showtime' contract renewal talks

GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes addressed rumors about the future of 'It's Showtime' and its potential replacement with a statement on social media.

According to Gozon-Valdes, negotiations are currently underway for renewing 'It’s Showtime's contract as it is set to expire this December.

'It's Showtime' moved to GMA Network's main channel in April after signing a new deal in March and celebrated its 15th anniversary with a special episode on the main channel in October.

The variety show has been a staple on Kapamilya viewers' schedules, airing Mondays through Saturdays at noon on both GMA Network and GTV.

'It’s Showtime’ first aired on GMA's GTV channel in July 2023 before making its historic debut on the main channel last April.

Host Vice Ganda thanked GMA for their support during challenging times and expressed gratitude for providing a platform to relaunch and rebuild.
