Gloria Romero's wake draws stars and fans

Fans and celebrities paid their respects to legendary Filipino actress Gloria Romero during her wake on Tuesday, with notable attendees including Barbie Forteza, Vilma Santos, Sharon Cuneta, former President Joseph Estrada, Iza Calzado, Nova Villa, Res Cortes, AiAi delas Alas, Pepito Rodriguez, Liza Lorena, Barbara Perez, and Marita Zobel.

Iza Calzado praised Romero for her kindness and professionalism throughout her career, while Film Development Council of the Philippines Chairperson Jose Javier Reyes referred to her as 'the Queen of Philippine Movies'.

President Bongbong Marcos also expressed condolences on social media.

Fans lined up from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. to pay their respects at the wake.

Gloria Romero, who passed away on January 25 at age 91, had a career spanning over seven decades and received numerous awards for her work in Philippine cinema.
