Globe offers free calls, texts, data for storm-affected areas

Globe Telecom is offering free calls, texts, and data to its subscribers in areas affected by Severe Tropical Storm Crising and ongoing monsoon rains.

TM and prepaid Globe customers will receive one day of unlimited calls and texts to all networks, along with 100MB of general data and an additional 100MB for apps like Facebook and Viber.

Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi users can get 5GB of free open data for three days, while GFiber Prepaid subscribers will have their service extended by three days.

Postpaid Globe and GFiber Postpaid customers in impacted areas will also receive an extension on payment due dates.

Yoly Crisanto, Globe chief sustainability and corporate communications officer, emphasized the importance of staying connected during difficult times and called on customers to participate in relief efforts through donations via Globe Rewards points or GCash.
