Globe launches limited-edition 5G WiFi routers with PNAs' works

Globe At Home has launched limited-edition skins for its new 5G WiFi routers featuring works by Philippine National Artists Vicente Manansala, Carlos 'Botong' Francisco, Larry Alcala, and Abdulmari Imao.

The collection includes two base designs—Stone (white) and Blueberry—with exclusive skins showcasing iconic artworks such as Vicente Manansala's 'Birdman', Botong Francisco's 'Pageant of Commerce', Larry Alcala's 'Barangay', and Abdulmari Imao's 'Marahuyob' completed by his son Toym.

Multimedia visual artist Toym Imao praised Globe's initiative for connecting Filipinos to the local art scene through technology, emphasizing its importance in preserving cultural identity.

Globe AT HOME's Head of Brand Management Abigail Cardino highlighted that these limited-edition designs turn the 5G WiFi device into a work of art for customers to proudly display in their homes, offering fiber-like speeds without traditional installation and an LED touchscreen for diagnostics.

Developed in collaboration with global tech company rainx, the Wi-Fi unit aims to make local art more accessible while providing users with instant connectivity through QR code scanning.
