Globe sells stake in Yondu, acquires NCSI PH for ₱1.87B

Globe Telecom Inc. has partnered with Singapore-based NCSI Holdings Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Singtel Group, to strengthen its IT solutions unit Yondu.

Under the agreement, Globe will sell a 51% stake in Yondu for ₱134 million and acquire full ownership of NCSI Philippines as a wholly owned unit, with an enterprise value of approximately ₱1.87 billion.

Globe retains 49 percent shares in both Yondu and NCSI PH while leveraging the expertise of NCS Pte. Ltd., which partners with governments and enterprises to advance communities through technology across the Asia Pacific region.

The joint venture aims to combine Yondu's local presence with NCS' global network, positioning it as a key player in digital solutions for the APAC region.

Globe President Ernest Cu expressed optimism that this partnership will enable Yondu to expand globally and offer more customized IT solutions, leveraging both companies' strengths in digital, cloud, data, and AI services.
