Ginebra's Scottie Thompson received news during Friday night's game against Blackwater at PhilSports Arena that his wife Jinky was in labor, and on Saturday they welcomed their third child.

Coach Tim Cone informed Thompson immediately after the game when he assisted Japeth Aguilar's game-winning shot with three seconds left, leading to a 101-99 victory for Ginebra.

Thompson rushed to the hospital right after leaving the arena and had a double-double performance with 18 points and 10 assists in the win.

The Thompsons shared on Instagram that their new baby boy is named Storm Atticus Serrano Thompson, bringing joy to their growing family.

Cone expressed understanding for Thompson's situation, emphasizing his priority as a new father.
