Gilas women eye Jones Cup, Asiad debut

Gilas Pilipinas women's team prepares for upcoming tournaments including the William Jones Cup in Taiwan from August 5 to 9 and the Asian Games in China from September 23 to October 8.

This will be Gilas' first participation in the Asian Games under Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, with their last appearance being in 1998 where they finished sixth.

Patrick 'Pat' Aquino expressed hope that the team's performance in these events will further establish its recognition on the international stage.
