Gilas teams climb in FIBA rankings

Gilas Pilipinas men's team climbed two spots to No. 38 in the FIBA world rankings following their performance in the recent World Cup.

The women's team also improved by five places to No. 37, marking a significant rise after finishing sixth in the FIBA Women's Asia Cup.

Gilas Pilipinas men secured one win against China during the World Cup and qualified for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments.

Head coach Pat Aquino expressed optimism about the women's team's continued improvement ahead of their participation in the Asian Games.
