GCash extends 15-day grace period for storm-affected loan repayments

Philippines' leading super finance app, GCash, through its lending arm Fuse Financing Inc., is providing relief to borrowers affected by recent storms Crising, Dante, and Emong, as well as the habagat (southwest monsoon).

GCash grants a 15-day grace period for loan repayments due between July 19 and July 31, allowing borrowers to focus on recovery without additional financial stress.

Loan payments will not incur penalties or late fees during this extension period, with eligible customers receiving SMS notifications with their new due dates.

Tony Isidro, president and CEO of Fuse Financing, emphasized the company's commitment to supporting affected communities in rebuilding their lives.

GCash encourages borrowers who are able to repay early to do so; a list of areas where the grace period applies is provided.
