Gasoline, diesel, kerosene prices drop again this week

Motorists will experience another round of pump price rollbacks this week, marking the second consecutive week of downward adjustments.

Shell Pilipinas Corp. announced a reduction in gasoline prices by P0.30 per liter, diesel by P0.90, and kerosene by P1.25, effective at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13.

The Department of Energy - Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) had previously projected decreases in fuel prices for the week, citing OPEC's decision to increase June production levels and ongoing trade talks between the United States and China.

Last week, firms reduced gasoline prices by P0.55 per liter, diesel by P0.65, and kerosene by P0.90.

As of May 6, 2025, year-to-date adjustments have resulted in a net increase of P3.13 per liter for gasoline and P3.00 per liter for diesel, while kerosene has seen a net decrease of P2.00 per liter.
