Hunt, Iffland win Red Bull Cliff Diving El Nido leg

Veterans Gary Hunt and Rhiannan Iffland claimed top honors at the 2025 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series' El Nido leg on Sunday, April 13.

Hunt, a ten-time champion who returned as a wild card this year after taking a break to prepare for the Paris Olympics, clinched first place with back-to-back high scores of 132.30 and 132.60 points in Rounds 3 and 4, earning a total score of 422.10 points.

Iffland, an eight-time champion, started the season in style off a 4.4 DD Back 3 Somersaults 2 Twists and an Inward 3 Somersaults ½ Twist to reign supreme in the women's division with 352.95 points.

Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series officials and divers, including Hunt and Iffland, expressed their enthusiasm for El Nido becoming a regular venue for future events due to its ideal technical requirements and scenic beauty.

Mexican Jonathan Paredes finished second in the men's category with 381.90 points, while Romanian Constantin Popovici secured third place with 381.15 points.

Kaylea Arnett of USA took second place in the women's division with 320.65 points, and Nelli Chukanivska from Ukraine rounded out the podium with 313.80 points.
