Gwen Garcia endorses admin senatorial bets, adds Pangilinan

Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia endorsed most of the administration-backed senatorial candidates for the upcoming midterm elections on Monday, May 5, adding Francis Pangilinan to her list.

During a speech at the One Cebu rally held in Dumanjug Sports Complex, attended by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Garcia named several names including Benhur Abalos, Manny Pacquiao, Vicente Sotto III, Francis Tolentino, Lito Lapid, Raffy Tulfo, Pia Cayetano, and Bong Revilla Jr.

Garcia also pledged to support ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo despite her previous rift with his brother Senator Raffy Tulfo, and expressed gratitude for Pangilinan's campaign efforts.

The governor emphasized the importance of unity among Cebu's 10 million voters in delivering a solid vote for the administration-backed candidates, further cementing the alliance between Marcos and One Cebu.

President Marcos Jr., who also spoke at the rally, excluded Camille Villar from his list of endorsements.
