DoTr subsidizes buses for health workers' free rides

The government is providing fuel subsidies to bus companies involved in its free bus service program for medical workers during the Luzon-wide quarantine.

Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc., has partnered with the Department of Transportation (DoTr) to provide 50 liters of fuel per day to each of the 60 participating private bus companies.

Bus units must complete at least two round trips daily to be eligible for the subsidy and will receive vouchers at staging areas.
